Ep 9: Mafuang

Be Who You Really Are

Ever since earning a master’s in clinical psychology, Mafuang has worked on transforming her craft into something she calls Narrative Therapy. This post-modern approach to therapy focuses on clients as individuals, instead of treating people as textbook cases based on their diagnoses.

As a therapist who does things differently, Mafuang has so many unique insights. Over the course of this podcast, she explains how she confronts the negative stigmas associated with mental health, how she ensures that highly sensitive people get the wellness they need and how we can all stop comparing ourselves to unrealistic standards of beauty in the media.

Anyone who wants to discover a new approach to psychology, that acknowledges diagnoses but also focuses on a whole individual, would benefit from listening to this talk. Mafuang explains how anyone can incorporate her approach into their daily lives, without the need for intensive therapy.
