Ep 7: Cashma

Finding Refuge in Music

As a musician who has had an album in the top 10 of the iTunes R&B charts, Cashma is truly living her dream. But her association with music is much deeper than producing radio-friendly sounds. As a biracial only child who grew up in a small town, Cashma struggled to fit in. Luckily, she was able to heal herself with music. As she grew, she knew she wanted the music to become her life.

During the course of this talk, Cashma explains how she finds the inspiration to write her own music, how she chooses which songs to cover online, how the pandemic has affected her career, how she copes with being an introvert in an extroverted industry, and much more.

The great thing about this talk is that it demonstrates how people can turn their passion into their careers. Music helped Cashma, so Cashma makes music that can help people. Anyone who wants to help people with their passion should listen to this episode!
